Canine Crawlers

This collage piece was one inspired by combining two of my favorite topics of interest, teeth and bugs. I wanted to make a fun and lighthearted relationship between these two things and so canine crawlers came to life. I wanted the meaning behind the connection between the teeth and the bugs to be left for the viewers opinion. personally, the story these creepy crawlers tell is one of trophies. The teeth being the remains of past tooth spiders all struggling up amongst the still alive and well spiders. I added some of my favorite flowers and materials to the collage like the bleeding hearts and lace and ribbon. Ultimately this is an expression of myself and my favorite things.
