The Dogs are Barking

This project came from an idea I had while working at my job at the time. I am a person who spends most of my life up on my feet and my grandma used to use the phrase “The dogs are barking” as a way to express having sore feet. So this feet sculpture was my take on the phrase. Seemingly normal looking feet from the front with open barking mouths in the back. I wanted to decorate the surface with etched bugs to make them more personal to me as bugs are one of my favorite things.
