Bug Collectors

I started this project in the spring of 2024 as a part of my senior graduation show. I wanted to showcase my emotional response to the world around me. The cry babies are representational of myself, and are named the “Collectors” of the bugs that are colonizing the bodies. Ive always loved bugs and the seemingly simple life that they get to live on account of their size. I find myself very jealous of this freedom of being unknown. And although this is a very human way of looking at a bugs life, i’ve taken great comfort in this fantasy.
